Advanced Tactical Pistol 1
This course is open to anyone whether law enforcement, military or armed citizen who meets the minimum prerequisites (below). This advanced course is designed to push your performance forward in all aspects of pistol handling, manipulation, body positioning and marksmanship. You will develop the mental, physical and tactical skills needed so you can defend yourself and others in high-threat/deadly force encounters.
Performance-Based Training: We use Performance-Based training combined with limited Standards-Based training to help you improve. Our primary focus is on you the student. We will help you step out of your comfort zone and improve your personal performance (skillset) above whatever level you are at today so you can be better, faster, smarter and safer tomorrow.

This is a fast-paced and somewhat physically demanding course that utilizes SIT (Stress Inoculation Training) to help you move forward in your performance as an Operator. This is a prerequisite for our Advanced Combat Pistol 2 Course which builds on the skills learned and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your unit or group.
Course length - 1 Day (8:30am - 4:30pm with 1/2 hour for lunch)
Prerequisite - Fundamentals of Tactical Pistol or Equivalent

Course Requirements
First things first, empty your cup. Neither a full cup nor a big ego have room for more. Come with an open-mind and humble spirit ready to learn. Show up physically prepared to work hard to move forward in your skill development. This is a Combat Pistol course so you will get dirty, sweaty and tired. (But it will be so worth it!)
Previous pistol training. Our Fundamentals of Combat Pistol or equivalent (P.O.S.T. Certified Law Enforcement Officer’s automatically qualify)
A quality semi-automatic pistol (iron sights or optic) with a tactical or OWB duty holster.
At least 3 magazines for your pistol with tactical or duty mag pouches.
Tactical or Duty belt
Full tactical kit (vest, plate carrier, helmet, etc.) or duty gear if available. Please don’t miss this class just because you don’t have tactical gear. We will work with what you have…
Minimum of 500 rounds of quality range ammo.
Weather appropriate attire that you don’t mind getting dirty. (Patrol uniforms may get ruined)
Hearing protection and Eye protection
Hydration - Water, Gatorade, etc.
Lunch/Snacks
Small notebook/pen
Brown or tan masking tap (to tape holes in targets)
Recommended Items - Electronic ear pro, Hat, Gloves, Knee pads, Sunscreen, bug repellant, weapon cleaning/maintenance kit
