Team BC/CQB

Behavior Compliant Close Quarters Battle (BC/CQB) is for all levels of Operators who are part of a team such as SWAT, Special Ops, Drug Units, Crime Suppression, etc. or those who aspire to be. It builds on the skills, tactics and Empirically Validated information learned in the Solo BC/CQB course which is recommended prior to this course. It will help every Operator to better understand BC/CQB tactics and become a more integrated part of their team. as you learn Scientifically validated methods. It will push you forward to further develop and enhance your CQB skills, tactics and critical thinking. The BC/CQB system works in a logical and progressive manner. You will develop a deeper understanding of human behavior, stress responses and there affects on your decision making and performance. As an Operator, you will gain a sound understanding of BC/CQB foundational guiding principles along with the why/how that makes them work. You will test and vet your BC/CQB knowledge and skills with force-on-force applications under stress. This and the Solo CQB course are musts for all team members. This training is especially helpful for Team Leaders and Trainers. This course can be customized to suit your unit or groups needs.

Course length - 3 Days (8:30am - 5:00pm)

Prerequisite - Fundamental Combat Pistol and Rifle or equivalent

Cost - $595.00 (includes range fees for non 17 South Members and use of simunition shoot house)

Locations:

Days One and Two - 17 South Rod and Gun Club, 5899 North Costal Highway, Fleming, Georgia.

 Course Requirements

Just like all of our other courses, you must first empty your cup. Neither a full cup nor a big ego have room for more. Come with an open-mind and humble spirit ready to learn and work hard to move forward in your skill development. This is a Combat style CQB course so you will get dirty, sweaty and tired. (But it will be so worth it!)

  1. Proof and previous pistol and rifle training. Our Combat Pistol 1 and Combat Rifle 1 or equivalent (Certified Law Enforcement Officer’s automatically qualify)

  2. A quality rifle with iron sights or optic with a sling.

  3. A quality semi-automatic pistol (iron sights or optic) with a tactical or duty holster.

  4. At least 3 magazines for your rifle.

  5. At least 3 magazines for your pistol with tactical or duty mag pouches.

  6. Tactical or Duty belt

  7. Full tactical kit (vest, plate carrier, helmet, etc.)

  8. Minimum of 250 rounds of quality rifle range ammo.

  9. Minimum of 250 rounds of quality pistol range ammo.

  10. Department owned SIM pistol and rifle if available

  11. Weather appropriate attire that you don’t mind getting dirty. (Patrol uniforms may get ruined)

  12. Hearing protection and Eye protection

  13. Hydration - Water, Gatorade, etc.

  14. Lunch/Snacks
