Advanced Combat Pistol 1

February 5-6, 2022

This course builds on Fundamentals of Combat Pistol (FCP) which we highly recommend you take beforehand. Either way, attendees must have prior training and be proficient at safe weapons handling, shooting and moving during live fire. This course is designed to push you forward in all aspects of your combat pistol handling, manipulation, body positioning and shooting. It teaches you the mental and physical skills needed so you can properly respond in high-threat/deadly force encounters. The course teaches much more than advanced pistol skills. You will learn behavior compliant techniques/tactics that will transfer from the flat range to the shoot-house to real-world CQB environments. This combat pistol course is fast-paced and physically demanding. We utilize SIT (Stress Inoculation Training) to help you reach minimum Operator Standards. You will develop a deeper understanding of the human stress response, its affects on your personal performance and how to best mitigate those affects. This course can be customized to meet the specific needs of your unit, group or agency.
